Hello again, my crafty friends! Today I have a layout to share that was made using an older collection by Donna Salazar called Grandma's Garden. I LURVE these gorgeous papers!
I cut out the floral images from a second sheet of the English Roses paper and layered them on top of the matching image using adhesive foam for dimension.
The bottom border was punched and hand-stitched with embroidery floss.
The ornate design you see beneath the heart is a stamped image that I embossed and fussy cut. This stamp is called Swirly Doos by Art Gone Wild.
The pink, hand-made flower was cut with the Rose Creations dies by Spellbinders. I followed a tutorial by Mistra Hoolahan. You can view her flower tutorials HERE.
The vine is also an embossed image made with a DSD stamp.
...layers of hearts cut with Spellbinders dies.
Love my Dymo Label Maker!
I outlined a few of the hearts with embroidery floss to add texture.
This photo of my hubby and I was taken a few years ago while we were still engaged. :o)
If you look closely you can see how Donna Salazar's Bubble Wrap stamp adds an awesome texture to the background. I used a pearl embossing powder so that the texture would appear subtle. Love this stamp!!
That's all for today! Thank you for stopping by!
