When I first saw this fun collection of Donna's called Storybook, I immediately loved the sheet of eclectic images called Storybook Cards. From cute glittery fairies to army men and space motif's, there are images for all fun loving kids at heart.
I have an assortment of photos of my son Ryan. He is 12, has autism and is the love of our lives. He is sometimes a mystery to us and our life with him can be quite the adventure at times, so the space theme was just perfect.
I decided to use this cute collection to make a really fun mini album documenting some of my favorite photos of him.
For the base of the album, I decided to distress and edge some corrugated cardboard.
For the inside pages, I took a sheet of 12x12 cardstock, folded it in half, then folded in half again to make a 3 in square.
Run the cardboard and the pages through your bind it all to make holes so you will be able to bind the book together later on.
Next, I cut the large star out of one of the Storybook papers. I added some burlap ribbon adhered with a fabric brad and added the star with pop dot adhesive to the cover.
Take the sheet, and cut out some more of the fun images to add to the pages and decorate your book.
