I am just giddy to finally be able to reveal some of my new die sets from Spellbinders. I’m normally not very good at keeping secrets and this has been killin’ me! J I have 6 sets that will be released at the trade show later this month but we are only doing a peek for 4 of them(yes, I know… we just love to torture you… LOL)
The first die set revealed today is my LF-001 Creative Book Pages. I designed these dies to work with Zutter’s Bind-it-All so you can make fun and interactive mini-books. You can also combine some of the dies to create windows, borders, frames, etc. The die templates will cut through anything from paper to corrugated board. You can make covers and then die cut a few pages at a time for a book with perfectly lined up edges with coordinating tags, flaps and frames.
1: 1⅞ x 3″
2: 3¼ x 3½″
3: 4¼ x 4½″
4: 5⅛ s 5½″
5: 6⅛ s 6½″
6: 7⅛ x 8″
My next set being revealed is the S5-052 Creative Page Tabs. I’ve always had a LOVE for office products. I remember playing in my dad’s office when I was little and being fascinated by the stamps, folders, memo pads, etc… This explains why I loved having page tabs in my scrapbooks and on my mixed media pieces but finding REALLY GOOD ones was hard. I have a heavy duty punch for ONE type of page tab that will only go through one paper at a time and I have to punch over and over again. These dies will go through corrugated board or multiple papers at a time and I can do a whole bunch at once! I LOVE IT!!!
(L-R in rows, unfolded size):
1: ¾ x 1¾″
2: 1 x 1¼″
3: 1¼ x 1¼″
4: 1 x 1½″
5: 1⅝ x 1″
6: 1¾ x 1¼″
7: 1 x 1¾″
8: 2¼ x 1″
9: 1⅝ x 1⅛″
My next die set being revealed is so flippin’ exciting! These are my S5-049 Carnation Creations. Though it doesn’t show in the image below, the flowers all have a hole in the center. All you have to do is die cut all the shapes at once then use a brad to stack the flowers from smallest to largest and you’re done!!! That is by far the EASIEST and FASTEST adorable little flower that you can possibly make. You can go a step further and create dimension with the flower but you don’t have to. You can make flowers out of paper, chipboard, corrugated board, or almost anything that your heart desires!
1: 2 x ¼″
2: 2¼ x ¼″
3: 2½ x ¼″
And the last die set that we are revealing today is the S5-050 Rose Creations. This die set can make some pretty realistic looking roses! Just like the S5-049 Carnation Creations, these dies can go through paper, corrugated board, chipboard, etc. The flowers are fast, easy, and FABULOUS!!! I absolutely LOVE THEM!!!

And here is a project that I made using the largest scallop die template from the LF-001 Creative Book Pages set and the 4 smallest die templates plus the leaves from the S5-050 Rose Creations set. I used my new Spring In Bloom papers for the card and some Artistic Paper for the rose. This project is a card with a bonus! You can remove the rose and it is a hair flower!
