I was asked to create a home decor item and a wearable item to be auctioned off at the "Under The Sea" Theme Benefit for the Wyland Foundation. My mom has always said that I could have been born a fish because I love the water and the ocean so much (I cry at the dolphin and orca shows at Sea World... LOL). So this charity is near and dear to my heart!
I made this mixed media painting by printing pictures from a mural that I painted a few years ago on my Crafty Chronicle. I made the canvas with Gesso and Smooch Spritz! Yep... you can make fine art with Smooch Spritz! I then decoupaged and painted over the images and sealed it all with Liquid Laminate.
I then took a picture of the painting and made it into a necklace for the wearable item!
I hope these items bring in LOTS of money for this charity!
Thanks for stopping by! Smooches ~D~

Great organization! Keep up the great work! Hope that many people will support this organization to help more people in need.
