Hello everyone!
Big Secret
OK... I FINALLY get to let you know who is manufacturing my papers!!! I think that most people don't realize that this company is a paper manufacturer because they are so well known for their idea books and their kits but they have been designing papers that are usually customized to go with the kits in their idea books for quite a while now. The company is...
Pinecone Press!!!
I am really excited to be working with them for my first line because most importantly, they are just sweet as can be and are wonderful to work with, second, I LOVE the fact that my line will be packed into project kits that I've designed (no more kitting classes for me!!!) and lastly, they have all the knowledge needed to launch a new line and they have been generous enough to share their info with me, guide me through all the necessary steps, and they have done everything possible to help make this a successful product launch. Deb, Walter, Karina and the rest of the staff... I JUST LOVE YOU!
Here is something that I think is pretty unique. We (me & Pinecone Press) have kinda partnered with Zutter to launch this line. This came about because I love Zutter stuff and wanted to design some of my papers to work with their tools. I introduced the two companies and we all hit it off so well that we are actually going to be in a "joint" booth at Summer CHA. I love how these two companies are willing to partner together and treat this as a joint venture (I think partnerships like this will help companies to survive through these difficult times) and... liking the people that you work with is an awesome bonus!
If you are a store and are itching to get my new line, I will be participating in a Pre-CHA retailers Event at Pinecone Press next week. You can call them to see if they are taking sign ups yet: 714-438-1024.
Classes
I taught a couple classes this weekend at Pages from the Heart in Monrovia, CA. It is a little store but I just keep getting drawn back to them because Kathy's "peeps" are just irresistible! (I shared a sandwich with Bronwyn and she posted some funny pictures of it on facebook) I forgot to take pictures with the classes but here are a couple pics of the projects they did:

The students got a sneak peek of my new line and some of the very first projects that I've created and I'm giving you a sneak peek too. I'll be posting a new project or peek of my line every day until CHA (or until I run out... lol) so keep stopping by as often as you can!
The photo below is a layout I made using my Vintage Nostalgia line:
I created a gallery on 2 peas and you can see this layout and all the close-ups in one place:

Much Cuteness
We have a new video posted on the Girlfriends Club blog. It is a video about a project that Leah's son created and you MUST see it!!! It is one of those videos that you have to say "awwww" when you watch!
Kits
I have 3 kits left from the Family Tree layout class that I taught and I will be posting them on the Girlfriend's site tonight. I have only 1 of the My Mind's Eye kits left and two of each color of the Match Made in Heaven kits.
Thanks for stopping by! See ya tomorrow for another peek at my new line!
Hugs ~D~
