I've started an Etsy shop to try to diversify where I generate my income. The cool thing is one of the listings I made this morning already SOLD!!! It was the Doodle bag that was in the Doodling for Papercrafters book. I've added a bunch of the things that I love using when I'm creating. Here are some of the items:
I'm selling these in packages of 10 for $1.50. These circles are approximately 5 1/4 inches in diameter. They were cut from a vintage dictionary from 1964. You have probably seen scallop cut cardstock being sold 10 for $1.00. These puppies are vintage and there is a limited supply so grab some while you can!
They are perfect for scrapbooking, cardmaking and collaging.
I have a thing for cardboard... what can I say. I LOVE IT! I use it on cards, layouts, mixed media artwork... there is something about it that I just can't explain. Anyway... I had some packs made up for a class that I taught a few months ago and gave them out as prizes. The ladies LOVED them. So... I thought I might try to offer them to other people and see if there are any other people who might share my love for this stuff.
You get 10 in each package for $3.00. The strips are approximately 1 1/2 inches by 12 inches... the perfect size for a scrapbook border. I hand cut all of these so you may see a variance of a centimeter or two but they are pretty much true to the measurements.
I love these little cuties. I use them for almost EVERYTHING! I use them for my picture collages, on my scrap pages, on cards... they are just so darn adorable!
I'm selling these in packs of 10 for $2.00. Each pin is only one inch long and 1/4 inch wide. I hand dye them in small batches so you might see a slight variation in color. They come in Denim, Pine, Tea, Walnut, Berry (out of stock) and naked.
I'm going to put together some unique kits and I'll put those up hopefully by this weekend.
My other new thing is custom scrapbooks. Now, you may be thinking "wasn't Donna already doing custom scrapbooks?" The answer is... Yes... but not like this. All the pre-work is done electronically. The very first book like this is for a friend of mine at church and it seems to be working out pretty well so far. I sent out an e-mail blast to her e-mail list letting her friends and family know what the occasion was. Then I created a site to gather the information that we need and it even has a photo album to post any of the pictures that they send me. I'll take all the comments and pictures and I'll put it all together in a hybrid scrapbook that will be presented to the recipient at her Sweet 16 surprise birthday party. This is a great idea for any milestone events... birthdays, weddings, baby, etc... This is the type of present that makes the event one that will never be forgotten. If you are interested in having me create one for you just shoot me an e-mail and we can talk about the details.
Thanks for stopping by... ~Donna~
